Work Injuries

Workman’s Compensation is the classification of an injury that occurs to an employee during the course of their normal work duties. The primary goal of physical therapy is to get patients back into the workforce, however, never before they are actually physically prepared. It is important to receive proper care following a work injury, not only to stop the pain, but to rehabilitate the affected area. Without proper healing, it’s more likely that a work injury could later reoccur.

Work Conditioning

Work conditioning is an individualized, work-oriented rehabilitation program designed to restore a client’s strength, endurance, movement and flexibility. It provides a transition between acute care and return to work while addressing motivation, safety and physical tolerances as well as worker behaviors. This program is appropriate for you if you have not succeeded in returning to work following a work injury, or have been unable to progress to full-time or full-duty as expected due to physical deconditioning following an injury.

Workers’ Compensation / Rehabilitation

Workers’ Compensation/ Rehabilitation Services programs focus on the promotion and maintenance to the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of workers in all occupations. We deliver a results oriented program designed to return employees to their jobs as quickly and safely as possible.

The sooner an injured worker sees a Physical Therapist, the sooner a treatment plan can be developed and recovery can begin. You will receive a prompt evaluation, effective treatment, and efficient rehabilitation services.

If you do find yourself in a situation where you’re experiencing pain with injuries that compromise your ability to work, you may qualify for care under your company’s workers’ compensations policy.
